Our new developed waste sulfuric acid recovery process and unit during titanium dioxide production fills the blanks of this field in China, and it reaches the international advanced level and has advantages of low investment ,low cost comparing with the same sort.This technology obtained lots of prizes and is applied in many enterprises.The whole units can reuse the waste acid after the treatment so that form the recycle economic mode which solve the pollution and save energy and resources. Take 20,000 tpy titanium dioxide for example.During the production , it produces 33200m3/h kiln tail gas of 300℃~450℃.Spraying will consume 70 ton water per hour,and the water contains plenty of titaniun dioxide and sulfuric acid which increases the cost of waste water treatment.If applying hot kiln tail gas to purify waste sulfuric acid ,the reclaimed heat quantity will reach 1.2 milion kilocalorie per hour. According that the heat quantity of 1 ton coal is 5000 calorie,so the quantity can reclaim 1900 ton coal per year.The total output of the titanium dioxide in China is 860,000 ton, if this technology is populaized, we can save 81,700 ton coal per year and 20,434 ton water, and reclaim 2,724 ton titanium dioxide which costs 27.24 million.
